Magical & Mystical Venezia

Art Work I brought back  from Venice

Venezia is still one of the most beautiful, mystical & magical places on earth. This treasure of a city on a lagoon is almost the same as it was six hundred years ago, which adds to the fascinating character. I also think that Venice is the most romantic city in the world. The best city to just walk and discover it’s every enchanting corners & alley ways for hours & hours. It’s the most pedestrian friendly city, since there are no road hence no cars just canals, gondolas & boats.

I think the best time to visit Venice is during the low tourist season. First time I ever visited was in October, there were very few tourists &  chaotic cruisers. One can really get the true feeling & appreciation for Venice during the low tourist season. I remember there was something magical in the air, it was fall, just a bit chill in the air. Every time the church bells rang, I would stop in my tracks and listen to them. It almost felt like the church bell took  me back to the glorious era of Venice about 600 years ago. No other city in Italy in my opinion is as unique as my Venezia. after all Venice was the first city I visited in Italy and it was love at first sight. Since then I have gone back several times, just can’t seem to get enough of Vibrant Venezia!

A beautiful handmade & handpainted mask famous in Venice for the Carnivale that takes place every February.

It is a magical city! I try to visit it often. For me, the best part of Venice is to “get lost”. Stay off the tourist paths and it becomes a surreal adventure.

Also I loved waking up early to check out the Rialto Market!
